Brazilian Sugar

I had no idea that Brazil was the largest sugar producing nation. In The World. I’m not sure why, but I didn’t think sugar came from Brazil and I certainly had no idea that it produced 20% of the worlds total sugar production. My mind finds that amazing. I was also surprised to learn ethanol is a product of sugar cane. Due to a myriad of factors including world growth, a large percentage of Brazil’s sugar crops have been dedicated to the production of ethanol that is then used in fuel for Brazilian automobiles. Sugar that is not dedicated to ethanol production is exported to many countries with the United States purchasing 20% of the crops, Argentina and China bringing up the rear along with Japan, France, South Korea and Italy to name a few. Generally, Brazilian sugar is supplied directly from the sugar mills. If you are interested in Brazilian Sugar Prices email info @ highseasugar.com.

Food is not my friend

Don't get me wrong. I love food. Especially food like Lays Potato Chips, guacamole and corn chips, coca-cola, and cheese. However, I have to be careful what I eat because I am trying to lose weight. Additionally, lately, after I eat, I become exhausted. Literally. If I sit on the couch after dinner, I promptly fall fast asleep. If I have a big lunch, it is all I can do to keep my eyes open at work.

I don't think this is normal. Is it?

Dual Action Cleanse

I have heard in the past that every body (pun intended!) needs a good cleansing. Colon cleansing will help to eliminate the toxins that have built up in your digestive system. Picture if you will a pipe under your bathroom sink. After a few years, there is all sorts of gunk clinging to the sides of the pipe until one day it becomes clogged and you need to clean it out. I think the same idea is behind a colon cleansing. There are many good Herbal Cleanser products available but it is important to get a good one that does what it claims to do, like Dual Action Cleanse.

The Coffee Brewers

The rate at which we drink coffee in my house is incredible. Mr. Right will drink one or two pots a day. The problem is that he drinks weak coffee. He doesn’t like dark roast or a dark coffee. He wants to be able to see through his coffee. This is wrong. Sick and wrong. Since I have to go outside of my marriage for a decent cup of joe, I’ve thought long and hard about espresso machines and owning one myself. I could effectively make myself coffee, one cup at a time. Dark, strong coffee filled with Vanilla or Mocha flavoring. I could have my coffee and drink it too. Without feeling guilty. Count me in!

Food?

What do you take when you go to the races (that is, if you go to the races and are allowed to bring in food).

I make sandwiches, take chips, drinks and some nuts or candy to much on. Of course, since I cannot tell if we are allowed to bring this contraband in, I usually wrap it up in a nice sweatshirt and sneak it in.

Do I feel bad for this? Yes. Do I feel guilty? Not so much. A 20 oz. bottle of soda is $4.00 at the race track. A slice of pizza, $8.00.

It is hard to feel guilty about not paying those prices. Seriously.

Fannie May Fine Chocolate

Mother’s Day is right around the corner. I only have three women I need to buy for: my mother, my mother in law, and my husband’s grandmother. I’ll get off cheap. However, in this day of extended families and remarriage and the like, Mother’s Day gifts can get pretty expensive if you’ve got a couple sets of moms and grandmothers to buy for. One thing that never fails is the Mothers Day chocolate we buy. I need to buy three different kinds, nut mixes for the grandmother, dark chocolate for my mother, and milk and mint for my mother in law. Lucky for me, Fannie May Fine Chocolate allows me the variety I’m looking for along with the convenience of ordering online with delivery to my house. As busy as I am, this is a huge plus for me.

BBQ Hamburgers

That is all I wanted. I have been craving them since Thursday night. Yesterday after the surgery, I didn't want to eat much at all. Mr. Right made pork chops and green beans and I couldn't eat hardly any of them because I could have food or drink after midnight Thursday and my surgery was Friday at 1:00 p.m. so by the time we got home at 5:00 p.m. it had been so long since I ate, I was afraid I'd get sick.

Tonight, I said I wanted BBQ hamburgers. I made a small pasta salad and got the meat patties ready and when Mr. Right went out to start the BBQ, we were out of propane. Damn it all. I ended up cooking the patties on the Foreman Grill but they just weren't the same.

The Fruit Company

I love gift baskets. I love getting them but I especially enjoy sending them to my friends and loved ones. Even better than a gift basket is the gift that keeps on giving, such as membership in the Fruit Of The Month Club from The Fruit Company. Who does not love fresh fruit, especially when it is delivered right to your doorstep in its own pretty box, mouth watering and ready to eat. A different fruit, grown in an orchard and not a laboratory, delivered each month directly to the recipient, really gives that special someone in your life something to look forward too year round.

The Fruit Company started out small, in a basement and was originally sold by mail order catalog. Now, it has grown to be featured in Oprah Winfrey’s “O” magazine, it has been listed as one of the “top15 growing companies” in Oregon and is part of the Internet Retailer’s Top 50 “Best of the Web” sites.

The Fruit Company does not just offer fruit of the month; they also have gourmet gift baskets, towers and boxes of fresh fruit waiting to be devoured.

My tummy still hurts

I worked all day and then we went out to dinner. The kids made it to Mexico safe and sound. I think I ate too much because my tummy still hurts.

At first I thought it was because I was a little stressed about them leaving and then I thought maybe I had too much sugar last night.

Now I think it just hurts because I ate so much. I had a salad and bread stick and one of my chicken breasts and about 1/2 of the pasta that came with it. I also drank two cokes. I'm surprised I can sit upright. I should totally be in a food coma right now.

I luv potato chips!!

They are my weakness.

I think I ate my entire calorie limits today in the form of Lays Classic potato chips.

OMGZ they were so good!

I ate the whole bag. I do not know how many ounces the bag was, I just know that they were so delicious and salty and hit the spot oh so perfectly.

Now my tongue hurts. It's a little raw.

I don't care. It was totally worth it!

Bologna Sandwiches

I used to sing the Oscar Meyer song when I was younger.

I sing it now to annoy my kids and husband.

Myyyyyyyy Bologna has a first name....

Anyway, all day today I have been craving a bologna sandwich. I want the perfect bologna sandwich. Two slices of soft wheat bread, real mayo, just a small brush on each side, add a light smear of mustard on one side, then add piece bologna and some fresh lettuce.

No cheese.

No tomato.

Eat. mmmmmmmmmmm

I used to eat these sandwiches with my grandma. It was her favorite too. Except she put butter (GAG) in addition to the may and mustard. I like butter, but there are limits.
