What a difference a humidifier makes!
Living in Arizona, there is not much of what could even remotely be considered moisture in the air. As such, we have really dry skin, dry noses, dry throats and dry hair. We bought a small water fountain to sit on the counter and try to put some moisture into the air here in the house. I was filling it up every other day. Especially in the summer. Recently, my daughter got the flu. I called the doctor because on the third day, she started having nose bleeds. The doctor said it was because of a lack of moisture in our air. He suggested a humidifier. I did not already own one, so I had to buy one. I had no idea there were so many choices! I ended up getting one with changeable humidifier filters, because I figured that would help keep the allergens down also, and maybe, I can cut back on my allergy meds. I run the humidifier all the time now. Our skin feels better, our noses feel better and oddly, we are less thirsty than we used to feel.
