I believe there is nothing more frustrating that being out of work, because of injury or illness, with no prospect of going back to work. What compounds that frustration is the jumping through hoops and talking to person after person while trying to get a Social Security Disability application processed and then approved.
I know. My mom went through it for months and months. She finally ended up filing a disability appeal before she could get any kind of benefits. She tried to do it by herself but finally ended up seeking professional help. In the meantime, creditors were calling her and she couldn’t catch a break with a net. It was sad and frustrating. And it wasn’t even me!
