Rugs really do make a room

I'm always saying how I love my house just the way it is, except for my kitchen sink and counter tops, the fact that I don't have an in-ground pool, and as my daughters age, they are slowly growing out of their bathroom. But, other than that, I really do like my house. I like decorating it and making each room individual while tying them together as a whole. One thing that helped in that regard was the variety of kitchen rugs and other rugs that I have purchased. They really bring my color scheme together, while allowing each room to maintain its own unique character and theme. Rugs really are wonderful accessory points, and if you get bored, it's easier to change a rug than paint an entire room. Just sayin.
